Both Editorial Board and editorial team are firmly committed to support trustful relations with the authors and reviewers.

Privacy policy principles of the JMER are totally consistent with The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) policy.

Privacy policy provisions of the JMER are the following:

  • All submitted papers are reviewed by Editorial Board and reviewers in complete confidentiality. Editors do not have a right to reveal any information which is incorporated in authors’ papers, in particular, receipt, content of the paper, current status of the paper in the process of review, comments of reviewers and final decision about the paper, to anyone than the authors and reviewers. Editors must not keep copies of the papers or share rejected papers with anyone. Reviews are not allowed to make copies of the authors’ papers and share papers with anyone. After reviewing the paper, reviewers must return or destroy all copies of the paper. Reviewer comments are not allowed to be published without permission of the reviewer, author and editor-in-chief. Reviewer comments have to be sent only to other reviewers of the same paper in order to let all participants of publishing process follow it. Reviews are allowed to know the final decision about the paper;
  • The Editorial Board and the editorial team are not allowed to use and share any personal data of the authors and reviewers for private purposes;
  • The Editorial Board and the editorial team are not allowed to track the IP addresses of the authors;
  • The Board and editorial team will share personal information concerning the authors strictly in cases of clarification of plagiarism or other disclosed misconduct;
  • Current workplace of the author and contact email are published on the first page of the author’s article and are in open-access. Since author’s workplace is indexed in the international databases, it is in open-access. The authors are strongly encouraged to provide the editorial team with these data when submitting papers. If the author is not willing to disclose his/her contact e-mail, he/she should inform the editorial team about his/her decision at least 5 business days before article will be available online.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
