Integrated model of the project activities management of non-formal education institutions

Abstract

The article deals with the quantitative and qualitative indicators of the functioning of the non-formal education system in Ukraine on the basis of official statistical sources. It is well established that the development of non-formal education as a socio-pedagogical system requires the creation of a new modern coherent system of project management at various levels of operation of this system for the purpose of its sustainable development as an important structural component in the structure of education in Ukraine. The article describes an integrated model for the management of project activities of the non-formal education institution and describes the characteristics of their most important components. Summarizing the results of the analysis of scientific sources, it is revealed that the concept, as a word of Latin origin, is essentially disclosed as a representation or representation of any process (event) that is described. It has been determined that the main components of the integrated model for the management of project activities of an institution of extracurricular education are basic concepts: target-oriented, theoretical, content, technologic, effective and reflexive. The article gives a detailed description and features of each concept. It is noted that a system oriented concept, which consists of such elements as described in the text of the article: monitoring of the activities of the non-formal education institution; identification of problems in the activity of the institution of supplementary education, which can be solved by project activities; selection of problems in the activity of the non-formal education institution for priority overcoming them by project development and implementation; identification of steakholders (if necessary). A graphic representation of the logical sequence and interconnectedness of concepts is provided. Detailed descriptions are provided. The SWOT models for the analysis of the activities of the non-formal education institution which are based on the achievements of qualimetric science are presented as tools for the success of the model. This article is useful for the directors of non-formal education institution the education administration bodies’ staff and post-graduate education institutions.
